About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting! My name is Ed and I spent most of my life living in rural Georgia. In 2012, me and the family made the move west to Queen Creek, Arizona. I grew up watching This Old House and New Yankee Workshop. I loved those shows, but I always thought that you needed big fancy tools and tons of know how to make anything. Well, that could not be further from the truth! I started Wolf Ridge Woodworking to show that you can make some really nice things with beginner tools and NO experience. My wish is that people can learn from my journey and then pass it on to others. I release new videos on YouTube twice a month. Make sure that you’re subscribed so you don’t miss anything!

When I’m not in the shop, I enjoy camping, off-roading, fishing, and just about anything else that takes me off the beaten path. I recently built an off-road capable teardrop trailer that you can see in the below pictures. This allows me to stay out in the wilderness for extended periods. I love exploring the surrounding areas, but when it gets hot, we head up into the mountains where it’s much cooler.

My other passion is Miami Hurricanes football. Both my parents are from Miami and I grew up watching the Hurricanes. Those were the days when they were dominating college football! These days are very different, but I stick by my team win or lose. I’ve passed this passion down to two of my sons.

I would love to see what you’re making, so please share it via the Contact form. You can also reach out to me on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram.
