Annette's Stunning Segmented Vase

Anne writes “My first segmented project with some instructional help. I used canary wood, bubbling, white ash and maple in creating this vase. I love the almost gloss finish, sealed it with a 50/50 of alcohol and shellac, then sanded up to 240 grit. Then I used my paste, Ackswoodpaste to finish sanding it and a good rubbing of Acks wood polish to finish. In proud of what I accomplished for the size of this vase and done on a small table top Harbor Freight lathe. It actually flew off the lathe once and went through my workshops window!!”
