Ogee'ish Cherry Bowl
With today's project, I attempted to make an ogee shaped bowl. It wasn't quite the ogee shape I was going for, but it still turner out great! I'm trying to use my traditional woodturning tools more and more. You will start to see me do more project with them. The only way that you improve is to push yourself. I also tried a new finish on the project. I traditionally use a walnut finish for anything that may be used for food. I like the finish that O.B. Shine Juice gives, but it's not food safe. This finish replaces the Boiled Linseed Oil with Walnut Oil and that provide a beautiful food safe finish.
