Pine Cone Lidded Box

Once you start woodturning, you will never look at a piece of firewood the same way. After you work with resin, you look at everything and think "Can I put this in resin and make something out of it?". That's what I did on on recent off-roading trip to Colorado. We stopped on the trail and I saw all these tiny pine cones and I knew instantly that I needed to collect a bunch of them.

For today's project, I took those pine cones and put them in some resin. I haven't made a lidded box in a while so I thought this was a perfect opportunity to make one.

I hope you enjoy this video. Please let me know if there is a project you'd like to see me make and I will do my best to do it. Thank you for all the support you have shown me and the channel!
