Handmade Cottonwood Bowl with a Textured and Milk Paint Finish

$75.00
sold out

This beautiful handmade Cottonwood bowl started as a log on the side of the road near Ouray Colorado on Owl Creek Pass. It made the trip back down to Arizona where it sat for a year until I cut the log in half and mounted it to the lathe. For this bowl, I decided to add some texturing and color. The outside was textured and then painted with milk paint and sealed with walnut oil. Milk paint is food safe, but please use cation if you have tree nut allergies due to the walnut oil finish.

The pictures don't do this bowl justice as the wood grain is stunning and there is a little quilting in the bottom of the bowl. This would make a great decoration or to hold fruit, nuts, or candy.

Dimensions:

7.5" diameter

2.75" tall
